Does the job!

Purchased to mount an iPad to a tripod. My iPad is in a LifeProof case and the mounts fit easily and securely the edges of the case. A screw mechanism on the back of the mount ensures that the tabs on the mount hold the iPad securely. For my iPad Air2, the mount holds the iPad in landscape mode but not in portrait mode. You can take a portrait, by tilting your tripod. The mount is light weight and the plastic definitely wobbles/bends a bit once mounted on a tripod..
