Wireless audio is something I've desired for a long time. The only comparable products prior to the release of the Edifier 830BT were the Samsung Buds plugs and an unnamed item purchased from AliExpress (not headphones). Both the comfort and portability of full-size headphones were important to me in my first pair of headphones. After reading every review again (I almost waited for the Sony 1000XM3 and Bose QC 35 II to come out before making a purchase, but I couldn't resist), I've concluded that the only headphones that can compete with the sound quality of the Momentum 3 are the Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC. The audio quality is the most important factor, hence a headphone or noise canceling technology is extra. Simply put, Momentum3 has fantastic audio. Really, I can't think of anything else to compare it to. Some reviewers at a well-known website compared them to the Sennheiser 820 HD and concluded that their momentum is about the same. You also need to know that the number of a hundred thousand or more can be heard in each ear. I will avoid using buzzwords such as "attack," "bass layering," "punch," "staging," and so on. Especially considering how little you actually know about this. In a nutshell, the sound is just what I was hoping for: clear, aggressive, and booming (just like myself and what I wanted). Compatible with two devices at once, but both must be powered on before the headphones can be used. The design didn't make sense to me, and I was hoping for something more like a Sonek 1000xm3. Yet, upon closer inspection, it was found to be quite ordinary. It turns out that smart pause isn't that great, unless you're using the player to view YouTube or listen to music. Yet, there are times when it becomes more of a distraction: say you're listening to the radio (maybe through the Europe + app), but it doesn't pause when you press the pause button. So, you put on the headphones after removing them from the player, and both the radio and the player begin playing simultaneously. Instead you can use a computer that is linked to your phone to access YouTube. He removed them and inserted his headphones, at which point the music player on his phone began playing once more. This ability to cook is a prerequisite for the feature.
