Review on 🚚 Reese Towpower 8508211 Proportional BRAKE-EVN Brake Control: Superior Trailer Braking Efficiency by Marc Farrell

Fits perfectly in the niche on the left side of the dashboard. I used a screwdriver (or other prying device) and pulled out the drawer/trim light switch. I loosened 4 small screws holding the cab to the skin. I cut a hole in the back of the cabinet and ran through the brake controller wiring harness. I drilled through the sides attaching the controller to the cabinet. I connected the brake controller to the Tekonsha 3031-P adapter. Then the wiring harness adapter to the factory wiring. I reattached the cabinet to the panel and pushed the panel back into the dash. The rubber mat on the bottom of the compartment still fits and you can also work with the controller buttons. Update: Worked flawlessly until the Bear Tooth Pass. Intuitive and automatic. The best controller I've ever used.
