I used this for a small ottoman that needs to be moved around a medium pile rug. Big. However, you will need a bit of practice when it comes to positioning and pre-drilling screw holes in the legs or bottom of your furniture. This was a better solution than the wheels that come with a stand and base. Sometimes they are too long. And sometimes they don't coexist with existing holes in many furniture legs! So a flat plate with 4 screws has worked better for me in several cases.
