Review on 📱 Premium (2 Pack) Supershieldz Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Google Pixel 3 XL - 0.33mm, Anti Scratch, Bubble Free by Brandon Boones

I used to buy Supershields screen protectors but for a Motorola phone a few years ago. When I received my Google Pixel 3 XL, I bought a different brand of screen protector. After looking at three packs (two for me, one for someone else) it's time to buy more. Believing that screen protectors are a commodity (and interchangeable) I bought the cheaper Supershields offering. The retail packaging includes screen protectors, various stickers (dust removal, installation), cleaning wipes and some documentation. It's all pretty standard, so why the low rating? Both of these issues are partly related to the Pixel 3 XL itself. The first issue is that the Pixel has a notched screen with notification areas on either side of the top speaker/camera/LED cluster. The screen protector is cut to precisely fit the curvature of the screen, making element alignment crucial. Some competing products give you a template that attaches to the phone itself, leaving no room to place (or route). this is a WAY BIG way of doing it. The second issue is that the glass doesn't adhere very well to the surface of the phone. Whether the center of the screen is a little concave or the edges are slightly rounded, the screen protector's adhesive is not enough to overcome the rigidity of the screen protector glass. My installation went pretty quickly. The protective film was easy to apply, but is offset by about 1/16 inch to the right. Since the screen protector doesn't cover the entire screen (presumably to make it compatible with phone cases), it's not as bad as you might think. . It's a bit annoying in the notch area. On the other hand, glass offers a much more pleasing visual experience than plastic protection. This item also works well with my Spigen case. It is worth noting that the item does not come with a hard scraper to remove air pockets. This product works like a screen protector. The main issue is that at least one competing product has found a much better way of aligning the screen protector to that of the phone That it's pretty much just part of the setup leaving the result to chance, that's a big difference.
