I love this humidifier! I have very severe allergies and sinus issues - I set the controls to automatically turn the mist on and off to keep the room at 50% humidity and WOW! Sinus problems reduced! I monitored humidity with an external sensor in other parts of the room - this humidifier is capable of maintaining 50% humidity perfectly :) The ionization function and the ability to use both warm and cool mist is a must for anyone who often suffer from moisture, colds and allergies.* **NOTE NOTES! DO NOT ADD OIL AND USE FILTERED WATER! I didn't follow the instructions and after 3 years of continuous use the engine eventually burned out - pretty impressive mileage given my sloppy maintenance! This is the second device I've bought - I just couldn't find anything else on the market that offered automatic control, ionization, and warm and cool mist. Nothing beats this humidifier :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND RARELY RECOMMENDED!
