This case has nice right angles, I was able to pull it nice and clean around the air conditioner from the outside, and the straps have an elastic component and plastic clips that look like they are holding it in place. . Easily adjustable and once in place they don't seem to slip. It would have been five stars if there hadn't been an odd issue: the product smelled like dead fish for some odd reason I couldn't identify. Luckily, external mounting means it will hopefully weather and not be a problem. I sealed the inside with plastic (sold separately, not part of this product) so I don't have to deal with smells, but be warned if you're sensitive to strong smells, this product definitely had one of those.
