Review on Enhance Your Performance with New Balance 860V9 Men's Running Shoes by James Cross

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best suited for low arches and pronation/supination.

i am a runner I started running in July of this year. I was running in one of the regular Saucony shoes with a 4mm offset and by the time I could run 3 miles I had a bit of pain in my knees. Even bandaging my knees didn't help. According to research, if you have a low arch, you need additional ankle supports like the NB860. Right after I received this shoe, I checked it out and noticed something else. Guess what? My pain is gone! Unless you're a beginner, you might want a softer model like the NB1080. Also, choosing a larger width helped me relieve foot pain.

Pros
  • Great shoes
Cons
  • Some users report that the shoe is too tight in the heel area.
