This curry is too hard which can be uncomfortable for some horses including mine and the teeth are too long/sticky. They trap the hair deeply and make cleaning difficult. The usual tapping method of loosening the comb extension did not work and eventually required a gentle hoof pull to loosen the mat. I've never been able to clean it without a bucket of water, which is a little annoying considering this brush was designed to shed and remove dirt. Also, it turned out to be too light in my hand. I like a good heavy hand and although it has a very wide back, maybe too big for small hands, it was awkward to hold. The old Easter brushes are much more comfortable.
