I've had several LG TVs and computer monitors so I was dying to try this dual monitor setup and so far it has definitely exceeded my expectations. screen area it contains. The overall dimensions of the system are around 48 x 24 x 24 inches and it weighs around 38 pounds. With a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a refresh rate of 75 Hz, these monitors offer very high image quality. I'd say that's all the resolution you can use on a 27-inch screen - you won't be able to tell the difference visually if LG ups the resolution. The colors are great too. - a very high score for such a monitor. Black levels are also pretty good, with a claimed 1000:1 contrast ratio, although not quite as good as I see on my best big LG OLED monitor. With a delay of less than 5ms, this is also very low for game fans. With both monitors connected, image quality is fairly consistent across both devices. for calibration, and my Datacolor SpyderX calibration tool had no issues with the LG - in fact, right out of the box it was near perfect. As with other LG monitors I've had, the image is bright and sharp, and you can adjust it to look great in your surroundings. AMD's FreeSync is supported as well as HDR10. Viewing angles are wide, text is crisp and legible, colors are accurate and vibrant, and the screen is relatively glare-free even when working in a brightly lit room. As good as the picture quality is, one of the gems of this product is the LG Ergo. stand. Each monitor is easily reconfigured into almost any configuration imaginable - folded, side-by-side, a landscape/portrait, etc. Unlike most monitors I've had in the past, the Ergo doesn't have a large base to take up space on your desk. Instead, the monitor attaches to your desktop and takes up only a small area of the desktop. I found the whole setup easy to install and secure enough once properly bolted on. In terms of ports, while USB-C (Thunderbolt) seems to offer the best performance, the monitors have a range of inputs, from USB-C to HDMI to DisplayPort. (DP). I mainly use it with a 2021 MacBook Pro M1 system and a Thunderbolt cable is all I need between my computer and both monitors. Conveniently, you can daisy-chain the monitors and then use a single USB cable to get both monitors with a single cable (you'll also need a DisplayPort to USB-C cable to connect the two monitors together). In addition to my MacBook, I tried a Dell Windows PC and a Linux PC - all worked exactly as expected with no issues. As with most modern monitors, there is a built-in application that allows you to adjust and adjust the display. If you've worked with previous LG monitors, this isn't surprising. The USB-C port supports 65W charging. In my case, that means I don't even have to plug in my MacBook's power adapter - I can have it charge directly from the monitor (although it charges more slowly than a more powerful charger). A small note: these monitors do not have a built-in speaker. So if sound is important to you, you'll need external speakers or a headset. There's a standard headphone jack so the monitors can stream audio to an external device - there's just no built-in speaker in the monitor itself. "Monitors instead of 27". That being said, it's the perfect monitor for most of us, with the perfect blend of features, solid/quality build, and overall performance no matter what you use your PC for.
