This setup really makes a big difference for me. My wife and I both work from home, but we often go to meetings at the same time. So one of us uses the dining table, which used to be a real problem. In front of this facility there was a mess on the table that needed cleaning before dinner as we require everyone to be seated. That is the solution. Everything connects to our two laptops with just 1 USB/c cable, we can share the mouse, keyboard and camera without disconnecting anything, it works with all 3 of our laptops and also charges laptops so no power adapter is required. At the end of the day, we just slide the monitors against the wall. Both monitors have consistent color calibration and the main monitor is a USB hub. The best part is the freely rotating stand for two monitors. It goes up, down, left, right, forward, backward and basically in circles. Fold it aside when you need desk space. Adjust on the fly. You can also mount monitors side by side or top and bottom. The second best feature is that you only need one cable to connect everything to your laptop. You can clean up a lot of clutter. All you need is a video-capable USB/C port on your laptop. You then connect the monitors together and the mouse/keyboard/camera to the monitor, and it all connects to your laptop with just one USB/C cable (see photo). In addition, it also charges your laptop. Here are my other observations: 1. Color Calibration. When monitors are daisy-chained, the colors on both monitors match perfectly. On the other hand, if you connect both monitors to a PC separately (e.g. HDMI and DP), the color calibration would obviously not match.2. Daisy chaining is disabled by default. The main problem here is that these monitors are configured by default to disable serial communication. There is no mention of this in the instructions or the user manual. As a matter of fact. Why do you sell daisy chain with two monitors and then turn off daisy chain in the monitor's built-in OSD settings and then don't mention it anywhere. If you don't open the OSD and enable the DP output port, you can't daisy chain these monitors.3. Daisy chaining via DP only. This setup does not support USB/C serial connection. It has only input/output ports for DP serial connection. You connect the "DP out" port of the first monitor to the "DP in" port of the second monitor. Then connect the USB/C port of the first monitor to your laptop. Then enable daisy chaining in the OSD menu of the first monitor. Then connect the USB peripherals to the first monitor. This means you only need 1 USB/C cable to connect both monitors to your laptop. This feature works great. It supports full QHD resolution (2K) via daisy chain. However, the maximum supported resolution is 60 Hz when connected in series (compared to 75 Hz when connected individually). These are DP 1.4 monitors. You can set it to DP 1.2 manually, but you don't have to for a serial connection.4. Downstream USB 2.0 ports. When the monitor's USB/C port is used for video, the two USB/A ports are switched to USB 2.0. When the USB/C port is not used for monitor audio/video, the USB/A ports operate at USB 3.0 level (assuming the input port is connected to a USB 3.0 or higher port on your laptop). If you need USB 3.0 speeds and a daisy chain connection, you can use a second cable to connect your laptop to the second monitor's USB upstream port, and then connect your peripherals to the second monitor. The USB/A data ports on the monitor do not operate at 10Gb/s, their maximum speed is 5Gb/s.5. VESA mounting plate. The dual monitor stand uses a VESA 120 x 120mm mounting plate. Has a quick reset button screws are not required.6. weight restrictions. The entire installation weighs 50 kg. A little over half of that weight comes from the monitor stand. It's very durable and I'm not worried about the stand breaking or failing. If you have a small or light computer desk, this can lead to imbalance and the risk of the desk tipping over. I hooked this up to a 190lb 8ft table so weight wasn't an issue. I could see it flipping if you attach it to one of those lightweight computer desks you can carry on one arm. AMD Freesync. Monitors also support FreeSync. I consider this a nominal feature for the target consumer of this installation. This is a 2K @ 60Hz (daisy chained) monitor. Obviously this isn't the best choice for gaming. In order to use FreeSync, you'll also need a discrete graphics card that supports FreeSync (which is rare on non-gaming laptops) or a suitable Ryzen APU (ie single-chip graphics/processing). Otherwise, while you can "enable" FreeSync support on your monitor, you won't actually use it.8. monitors. I didn't really notice the corner glow, but there is some backlight bleeding around the edges. This is not unexpected and no monitor is perfect. As for the monitors, they are pretty standard mid-range, consumer-focused non-gaming and non-business/professional series monitors. There are no built-in speakers. Pretty much for home use or home office. This monitor uses an IPS panel, which is generally a premium quality and one of the best types of LCD panels. It has very good viewing angles (when viewed from the side). IPS panels are generally better than VA or TN panels, which are other commonly used LCD panels. Otherwise, the monitors are pretty typical in terms of size. They do not include separate (or detachable) stands and therefore cannot be used individually. The only option included is a dual monitor stand. You can get them close enough that there is no gap. However, there will still be a visible border. So if you place them next to each other you will see a border separating them in the middle. As such, it's great value for money and offers plenty of flexibility for home office use. The dual monitor swivel stand offers superior quality and amazing freedom of movement.
