Several online DIY videos suggest that if your fridge is not AC powered and you have checked the power supply, glass fuses and heating element, then the lower control board is most likely defective. So I went down that route and bought a new lower control board, but unfortunately that didn't solve the problem. I was fortunate that Revain allowed me to return this item for a refund. I was quite resigned to running the LPG fridge until I found out that this problem could be caused by the top panel. So I bought a top control board and that solved the problem. My fridge now runs on AC or gas depending on whether AC is available. So if you have a similar problem with your van fridge, you should know that replacing the upper control board can fix your problem.
