My little Maltese LOVES this bed! She doesn't exactly weigh 7 pounds, but her hair makes her look taller. I have included two photos to show how it fits in the bed. It has a lot of space for them. She also hides bones. Inside there is a deep groove that allows her to put the bone inside. The middle of the bed is nice, thick and comfortable. The bed can also be turned around so that the solid gray is on the inside and the fur is on the outside if the dog doesn't like the fur. But they probably will because it's so soft.
