Review on WANHAO FlashForge Builder Hotend Nozzle by Paul Williams

This all-metal hot end is EXCELLENT when you need to print with high temperature filaments that would otherwise ruin the PTFE tubing in your extruder. However, I recommend that you DO NOT USE THIS FOR PLA PRINTING. There's a reason your 3D printer came with a PTFE hose and not a solid metal tip: it's because the PLA gets too soft to feed properly without it. So if you're primarily using PLA and only have one extruder, don't buy an all-metal hot end. This will jam up your extruder and ruin your prints. If like me you work primarily with ABS, high temperature filaments or have a dual extruder (and you will never print PLA at the same time in either case) then I highly recommend this. Pros: works great. with ABS or high-temp thread. With dueling extruders, simply replace a hot end with a high-temperature material. Cons: expensive. (However, if you don't have access to a machine shop, it's definitely worth it, which is essentially the cost of two kilos of filament.)
