The device works well and appears to be very sensitive, for example place a piece of paper under one end and the reading will change. It's much more sensitive than a regular bubble level or my eye. There are three angle readings: one that functions and looks like a spirit level, an upper angle number that relates to the spirit level, and a lower number that represents the angle relative to a user-specified reference point. The bubble level and upper digital display are set to zero height by default. This is a very nice feature, many other digital levels require user calibration, which I find ridiculous. When you buy a spirit level, you don't want to wonder if it's set correctly. The relative angle feature is useful when your magazine/tool is not perfectly aligned, e.g. B. Put the device on the table of a drill press and press "zero". Button. This sets the relative angle value to 0. Now bring the device close to the drill and read the relative value. This way you can get a 90 degree hole even if your magazine/tool is offset a few degrees. Without this function you would have to calculate in your head. The relative function isn't perfect, it won't read as 0 when set back to the reference plane. It's less than a degree. I don't think you can turn off the relative feature, you can just reset it to a different reference angle. I don't think these issues are significant. After moving, the installation of the display takes about 5 seconds. The hold function works as expected. The magnet is not that strong, but strong enough to hold the device when about 50% of the magnet is involved. It's ok, I don't want to fight to remove it. Not sure how durable the device is, it doesn't look like it will survive a 6ft drop onto something hard. The flip-down display doesn't feel as solid. The device is a little heavier than I expected, weighing 4.6 ounces with batteries. The printed manual is small and difficult to read. I downloaded the guide from the Wixey website, it's a decent guide. What I miss: a backlit display, more durability, a protective cover. In general I am very satisfied with this device, I will buy it again and recommend it to friends.
