Review on πŸ”§ Dewalt DCD791D2 Compact Li-Ion Brushless Drill by Adam Edison ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do not hesitate to buy, the quality is amazing for the price.

For domestic purposes, it is better to take something not so powerful. Somewhere at 40 Nm, a maximum of 60, 70 is still a bit too much . I will add that after a month of operation, the ratchet apparently developed and began to work normally, as expected - even on small self-tapping screws. I also hurried a little, I was looking for the same one on a 5A battery, I did not find it. It turned out that such a complete set of this model is also the most expensive for 3K, while the accs themselves, if taken separately, will come out much more expensive. 2A is enough for Shurik, but more powerful ones will be required if you buy another Dewalt tool in the form of a carcass.

Pros
  • Light, strong, short. Well done chuck brake! The main thing is not to spin the bat as before - holding your hand on the go - burn your palm - a trifling matter!
Cons
  • Too powerful. Tears self-tapping screws, if they withstand - tears bits. That is, it is necessary to work only with branded strong bits and it is not for short self-tapping screws - somewhere from 70 mm to 150 I think. The ratchet does not have fine tuning - at 4 the self-tapping screw is not screwed up to the end, at 5 it breaks it. The light at the maximum did not turn off, I thought marriage, but then I guessed that this was the flashlight mode, the flashlight was drawn there. :) Bits fly out of the magnetic bit holder, although if you hold only one bit, it keeps perfectly. The light is perfectly tuned for drilling, but if you hold the screw with your fingers, you block it with your hand. Constantly touching the reverse switch during operation. The switch is pretty flimsy. Non-replaceable sides of the belt hook - when changing the sides of the hook and bit holder, it does not fit into the case. I had to dismantle the hook, since I personally do not need it, and the bit holder on the other hand is much more convenient. You can also cut the case a little, so I will do it if I need a hook.
