. In preparation for my upcoming ankle surgery, I was looking for a product that would elevate my foot and hold it in place while I slept. I ordered this memory foam foot pillow and took it with me to the hospital. I can't tell you how well it worked. My nurses and doctor were particularly impressed with this as it held my ankle over my heart while I slept and kept my foot in place. When I got home yesterday I also decided to use it in my Lazy Boy Chair and I found that it also allows me to elevate my ankle much higher than I could while lying in bed. It is extremely helpful in reducing swelling and pain resulting from such swelling. Today is the third day after my surgery and I have literally almost no pain. I'm sure a great surgeon who underwent ankle replacement surgery made a huge difference in my pain levels, but I'm also absolutely certain that this memory foam pillow made a huge impact on my recovery.
