I love the price of this waffle maker and I like that the plates are copper instead of Teflon. I was concerned the waffles would not stick or bake through due to the low price and material. However, this waffle maker produces the perfect Belgian waffles that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I've never had any sticking issues and I use the bare minimum of canola oil (about a teaspoon) to clean the panels first. I wish I could be a gourmet chef, cooking everything from scratch, but I rarely have time for this type of activity. Perfect baking is achieved in two minutes and forty-five seconds. I usually set a timer on my phone. One pack makes 5 waffles; Each box contains two packages. I also like that the waffle maker can be stored upright. It fits well in the cupboard, but I also sometimes leave it next to the coffee maker and it doesn't take up much countertop space.
