Warning: This is a UNIVERSAL adapter that needs to be DISPLAYPORT (source) to HDMI (DEST)

This purchase was a waste of money for me as I either want to read the FAQ more closely or learn more. carefully in my research. I tried connecting my Dell monitor (DisplayPort) to Mac (HDMI) and PC (HDMI) but neither worked. After reading the Q&A extensively, I found out why it didn't work because the cable is unidirectional and only supports DISPLAYPORT to HDMI. It can be a good product if your scenario fits the design of the product. The 1 star rating is just a warning.
