not bad at all, even better than expected. thin zipper area so you don't get scratched in your sleep when you need them for that. I bought an oddly shaped viscose boomerang neck pillow (not a real boomerang, has a center with three main wings emerging from it)) that doesn't have the usual pillowcases for it at all, just its cover which doesn't match the color and looks dirty off when you look at him. I couldn't take it after looking through many lists of pillows, I finally found the ones that don't have the frills that Europeans have, you'd be surprised how many aren't this size. They are perfect, like real thick cotton pillowcases for regular pillows, only square. If you have a large, oddly shaped pillow, it's a pleasure to use. not a perfect fit for your pillow but still a pillowcase. I love it and purple is a true deep purple plum color that I love. recommend.
