Wonderful embossed detail

I bought this wallpaper to reproduce the metal ceiling panels that decorate my barn doors. After insulating the doors I needed some machining. I was hoping to use this wallpaper as it came from a roll. Repeating the paper didn't work, so I cut out 10" squares and alternating directions. The squares have been covered with copper paint and then patinated with chalk paint and then aged. I like the effect that the very detailed embossing gives. The price was much cheaper than tiles and much lighter in weight.
