So far this is a great camera. Installed very well in a 2006 Nissan Quest. The picture is upside down and offers a really nice foresight. The image is in color and in high quality. There are red, yellow and green guide lines overlaying the video. I opened the back and saw a bunch of silicone there after reading the reviews. Also, while testing on the workbench prior to installation, I noticed that the cable connection was very hot. I think there might be a voltage regulator there that dissipates heat. This can be a problem if you have connected the camera to a permanently-on power source. I connected the camera to the reverse light so it only works when the car is reversing. Power and video share a common ground.
