I am a firm believer in New Balance because they: Size for large feet (I'm 12.5), vary in width and are American in origin. company (although some of their shoes are made abroad). I had several pairs of New Balance tennis shoes and needed to buy a new pair. I bought 12.5 2E Lav1. Here's the catch. It should fit like a sock. Cozy. Otherwise it would defeat the purpose. I knew about it and I was ready. And as advertised, it fits like a tight sock. But it was incredible. Very convenient. I usually have a choice of regular width and 2E width and I was sooo happy I went for the wider 2E version. So the fault is on the broader side. After 3 months I saw them for sale at Revain so I bought an identical pair. I understand this means something.
