These clips are under constant spring tension (that's how they work, after all), so it doesn't take a lot of external pressure or accidental handling to break the plastic retainers. I broke these holsters (multiple brands) in just a week. and so on up to six months. And it's always the same part - a brittle plastic part with a metal hinge pin going through it. It would be nice if the entire hinge assembly was metal. As mentioned in another review, the phone wobbles a bit when held in place. but not so much that it falls out.
