Review on 🐠 Tetra Carbon Filters: Perfect Fit for Whisper EX Filters in Aquariums by Marisol Rodriguez

Revainrating 3 out of 5

This price is Shard

So I'm the ONLY person who thinks that if we, as a valued customer, commit to buying X number of items through the Prime subscription program, we should be buying them for the same price as us in 6 months time. subscribe to something? Seriously if the price goes up from the company - who cares, we made a commitment with AMAZON to buy 2, 4 or 6 of these a month for 8.99 each (this item was a paid item but not everywhere so only # to the show ). Isn't that, or shouldn't that put Revain on the same level as us? If they're just posting steady sales here, why are we paying an annual price for PRIME when the only one we're still getting at no extra cost is free shipping? This filter, a Tetra EX 70 in my case, is a damn good filter SO SO they pass the filter carts almost twice as fast as the filter = flow rate in gallons per hour. It's great, isn't it? NO, THIS IS ABSOLUTELY! Why? Well to be honest the ONLY reason I was looking for a new filter wasn't because my Marineland 350-450 didn't meet the need, it was because some idiot decided that the 6 and 4 person prices were the same -wagon should be changed from 6 - $8 a box (my replacement for these was 5.89 for 6 and 6.00 for 4 to knock out 6 each month) to more than triple that price in at least 3 months. When I read my application, right after I was billed for the second month of the "price change" and had the goods shipped, I realized that my monthly filter media was NOT $75 since it was on my subwoofer year-round Reveal went. Instead, I see that I was billed $220 for the current month and the second month. Then I look at the previous month which I still say I never had to do since it was called Subscription and when I subscribe. Spring. absolutely NOTHING else in the world at an agreed price. And YES to those who were just thinking "would you still cry if the price went down?" That's something we'll have to deal with because yes, we've agreed to an $8 monthly subscription. If the cost goes up to $20 (actually over $30 in this case), that's not my problem as Revain offered us an $8 subscription if we agreed, X per month to buy. The same rules apply to us. If the price drops to $4 that is NOT your problem because we agreed to pay $8. Since either party can cancel at any time, the solution seems to me that Revain should cancel our subscriptions instead of charging me over $200 for what I paid $75 for over 15 months ago when they do not intend to meet their obligations. end of it. or they should call it by a name that makes it clear that it is not for our convenience, but for their convenience that the price "SUB" is being offered to us. What does all this have to do with these? Because I'm here after 4-5 months after buying 4 of their filters and increasing the amount of the basket. Subwoofer every time I add another filter. These items only stayed 3 months at the price of 8.99 for the consumer. Here they jumped to 14.99. and currently have the best deals on them at 12.99 and this is where I would get stuck if I signed with Reelz, but I have decided to order and pay for all but one box of 4 packs manually. $8.54 and paid $8.99 for the other 4 boxes before going up to $12.99. then I went elsewhere for 10.54 which has been since the product was released and is still only 10.99 at the moment. Yet just this month the seller returned with a lower price of 8.99 or 8.54. I hope all my tail hunts are up and that sprinkling numbers all over your frontal lobe has, or will, confirm my point. I am disabled and my disability is such that it doesn't really allow me to travel any distance at all to shop for basic necessities as well as hobbies/pets - I usually order a lot of stuff. I stopped using their subscription feature for almost everything because it doesn't meet the needs of people on a regular income. We may have had free time in the past when we didn't care how much things like filter cartridges cost us, and I know that I'm guilty of, for example, just throwing money at everything, maybe never even looked at the price tag on the matter. . NOW - food is being prepared on a budget - and all those pizzas or snack bags we used to have lying around - they're off plan. be - they are deeply mistaken. The cost of making this filter hasn't doubled, and the cost of Marineland's C and E wagons hasn't more than tripled. What has happened is that the quality of the materials in both the cartridges and the boxes in which they are packaged for sale has deteriorated. The companies have reduced the quality of the product, there is less carbon on these filters (fits me) and the filament carriage itself is not as rigid - it doesn't withstand the flow of the filter like they do. I did this 4-5 months ago. Why does it matter? Light. I'm paying more for what is now either worse than the water flow of the larger EX filters, either. it REALLY upset me when it happened. The carts fit into some sort of exoskeleton, and the only thing holding them together is the cartridge, which is held in place all around by a frame and a single clip at the top. Keep in mind that you'll need to fiddle with the clamp provided to remove the carriages. Did you know that if the cartridge itself is made of a lighter floss material, the frame can lose grip if you don't pull it MUCH sooner than the already short ones? Do you have time? Well, I've found that if the frame loses traction and the thread has enough slack, the whole damn mess falls out of the exoskeleton. This only happens once with a longtime hobbyist and then you learn how to quickly pull carts into a 1-2 gallon bucket. The first time either goes in the tank with whatever has been filtered out (meaning you're going to have a big water change) or goes over the back. or on the way to the garbage can on the floor above. Who knows what's in the back = into some electrical something, and what's in the ground between the tank and the recycling tank = a huge mess and aggression from the wife or parents? I'm not happy with their increasing price, especially when the quality of the product is declining at the same alarming rate. These are great sonic filters as long as you remember to clean them and with the amount of water they can deliver they ONLY HAVE to be of the same quality in filter cartridges as they are in filters. Powerful filter that can hold a tank. say 100 1 inch young catfish. Works consistently and cleanly between water changes - it's ONLY this grade of filter IF YOU GIVE THEM A MATCHING CARRIER. I have over $130 for just 4 filters, but I will kick it out the door if you stick to this volatile cart price by selling us product at a lot lower than when this new line of filters was released. I can make my own carts here using your other MUCH cheaper bio bag carts which are $8.49 for 10. That makes me 5 carts stronger than your carbon efforts and a fourth filter element added for beats. It also allows me to add any other necessary element if I want. However, I don't want to hand-sew my own supercartridge, and I won't buy a sewing machine to do your job. what do i want to say That's it. They have no problem selling the carts I am talking about at practically the same price for at least the last 15+ years TODAY. and they are basically the same. This exo suit. The same plastic is used. the same floss. the same carbon. only double the +2 of your new and improved filter carts. 10 pieces. against 4 pieces. For example, I simply overlook the problem of rising prices. (That was a lie.) I know why it should increase. Because you think retail is a seller's market, and until someone who has their own subscription internet domains reminds them, so will the buyer. Retail has always been a buyer's market. When people stop buying, businesses fail. In the same way, I convinced at least 12-15 people to try EX filters. I can convince them all that just because of your trends, EX filters are useless a little over 4 months a year unless we make our own carts and they are too expensive to be useful to the serious grower or grower to be. The great items are the EX filter and associated cartridges that used to be sold. my last 6 boxes not only arrived crushed and late, but the quality or stability of the stand cart no longer holds when held horizontally at the top where they hang down. They have never done that in the last 4-6 weeks. Anything that has been changed should be reverted to properly stable specs. OR you have to sell them as class C junk made by class 1 crafts. I gave you great feedback when you gave us excellent service. Don't expect less from me if you give us sub-par items at a higher price.
