Excellent Teapot: Coffee Pots and Teapots

Excellent Teapot. Well built, well designed and durable. I've been using mine for a few years now and while it shows use it's just as functional as new. One of the best points is that it pours very smoothly thanks to the spout design. It pours so beautifully that my wife sometimes prefers it to a homemade kettle on the stove. I can't go wrong with this kettle. After purchasing I also bought a Halulite version of this kettle which is the same but made from lightweight aluminium. The only difference is that the aluminum kettle has a rubber grip on the handle and a ring used to lift the lid. The aluminum shell is slightly lighter, weighing 8.9 ounces while the aluminum shell weighs 6.05 ounces. I prefer a stainless steel kettle, but you can't go wrong with an aluminum one. The stainless steel feels more durable, and the recesses that hold the handle are stronger for a more comfortable feel. Although the rubber coating on the handle of an aluminum kettle dissipates heat, this is a problem when using it on a fire as the rubber will melt. Stainless steel is also slightly cheaper.
