Definitely worth it

Ideal for boiling water and making a cup or two of hot tea, cocoa or even coffee. The only thing it should have is a mesh insert so you can soak pine needles or fresh ingredients. Also it should have a cap for the spigot, I had no problems with ash or anything else getting in. I use it for bushcrafting and hiking over a campfire or a folding stove. It's light and not big, so it's easy to store.

Fantastic Kettle - Camping & Hiking

Just got back from a 5 day camping trip to Lake Tahoe in late fall and I can tell you that after a night in freezing temperatures it was heaven! Boil some water in this kettle for hot chocolate and coffee the next morning. This kettle is perfectly designed, the steel used is a durable and high quality material. Water flows perfectly from the spout into a cup or bowl. I really like it and expect to use it on many upcoming trips.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad

Один из них у меня уже давно, он поцарапан, сгорел, видел много пожаров и до сих пор работает так же хорошо, как и в тот день, когда я получил That. It's not lightweight like the Trangia kettles (found in some of my lighter packs) but is made from high quality stainless steel. Then why did I buy another one? I forgot how good they look new and thought why not? I love the Dickens of it! This is an investment in the future!

Perfect size for my needs.

We have been traveling all over North America since February 17th (3 years and 100,000 miles). This stainless steel kettle is easy to clean and just the right size for 2.5 cups of coffee in the morning - just what I need. Through a coffee strainer, he fills the Yeti 32 ounces to the brim. There is no perspective in the published photos, so I was a little surprised by its small size when it arrived. But it's exactly what you need in this space and weight saving lifestyle. It pours well, doesn't…

Perfect with some modifications

I was looking for a kettle for my camper van and it seemed to be the perfect size. I was surprised that the lid is loose enough to remove by simply tilting the pot forward to pour. This seems very unsafe and I'm surprised the manufacturers haven't added at least a small protrusion to the rim of the lid to secure it to the kettle for safer pouring. I started returning it, but ended up really liking it, so we took it to the garage and gave the lid a pat on the lip. Now it sits perfectly in the…

I recommend this when making the kettle

The lid of the kettle has a lot of play. I eliminated the play by making three small dents on the lid's skirt and punching them around the perimeter. Now the lid no longer hangs out and stays locked. I recommend doing this if you're making a teapot. A standard 230 gram Covea bottle with a height of approx. 2.5-3 mm does not fit in the kettle. If the manufacturer makes the kettle 3 mm higher, then the standard 230 gr. the cylinder fits into the kettle - this is normal. Only 3 mm, and what a…

Great kettle! the best in coffee shops and teapots

We've recently started getting rid of our old aluminum kitchen appliances and I wasn't impressed with my friend's titanium appliances (expensive, little weight saving, bad long term performance), so I started looking for lightweight stainless steel products. They are suitable for both hiking and camping. It weighs a little more than titanium, is infinitely stronger and more durable, and is just the perfect size. We used it for afternoon tea (one kettle was enough for 3 adults) while on cold…

Nice kettle and pot

I like this kettle. I chose this kettle for a number of reasons. First, it can be used as a cooking pot. The top rim is wide and can be easily removed with a spoon when cooking. Second, it has a lower center of gravity. Some cans are tall, and when placed on some stoves, they can be so tall that they can easily tip over and spill your food. Also, in a tall pot, the food below cooks while the food on top doesn't cook as quickly. This flatter, wider kettle boils more evenly. Thirdly, there is a…

Excellent Teapot: Coffee Pots and Teapots

Excellent Teapot. Well built, well designed and durable. I've been using mine for a few years now and while it shows use it's just as functional as new. One of the best points is that it pours very smoothly thanks to the spout design. It pours so beautifully that my wife sometimes prefers it to a homemade kettle on the stove. I can't go wrong with this kettle. After purchasing I also bought a Halulite version of this kettle which is the same but made from lightweight aluminium. The only…
