So I think it's a good DMM. I accidentally left the test leads connected to the meter. I hooked it up to 12 volts at 500 amps and the wire and fuse blew. In short, after you've tested the amps, plug the test leads into the correct jacks so you don't waste $10. I used a lot of temperature measurement, but when I screwed up I messed something up with the chip. It is read everywhere. So don't blow up yours.
