I bought this camera to use as a front camera. One of the requirements I needed was that it should be able to mirror the image. Most rear view cameras are upside down, making them look like mirrors. Luckily I was able to do it with this one. Installation was easy. I've now attached it to the underside of the license plate. In the end I transfer it to the guide bracket on the winch bumper. I charged it before use. I charged for several hours and the indicator stayed red. Only when I switched on the monitor did it show a full battery. Your camera is always on standby, so it needs to be charged a little during the day. I installed a camera in a phone mount. It synced within seconds of turning on the monitor. The picture quality is quite low. It is grainy and slightly wavy. I would rather have this camera work with a phone app than install a separate monitor. I suspect the picture quality would be better. The transmission stutters at high speeds. Suitable for low speeds. I use it for other purposes and as such it works really decent. There are some better solutions for rear view cameras. But there are very few options for wireless communication. Update: the signal started dropping and had to keep turning the power off and on again.
