I bought these as an equivalent to similar Teva sandals. I wasn't disappointed at all. I didn't have a break in my period. They don't seem to produce a foot stink. I usually wear them from waking up to sleeping and never have a problem. I tend to have sweaty feet, although the shoes don't eliminate it, they keep the temperature of the feet in good condition. I've walked in these sandals at least once on a measured 10 mile walk and never thought about it. The protector doesn't wear out and the straps and velcro hold up. They also give a pretty good tan line.
