Used for luggage on planes and worked fine. My only concern is that I can't see the numbers clearly due to the silver sheen to unlock them in certain lighting conditions. We had to rotate/orient it in a specific way to avoid reflections and/or for clearer readability. Risen through checked baggage, travel and searching. One of the luggage handles was ripped off by loaders, but those locks stayed intact! Our luggage was not checked by the TSA either. We've never seen a red alert light pop up, or mixed up our internals. In general, we were satisfied with these locks!
