The cutouts work well and I have no problem using a variety of aftermarket lighting cords. It even works with the magnetic mount in my car with a metal plate under the case. The only criticism I have of this case is how bulky it is, but you can't really protect your phone with a flimsy, fragile plastic case. waist phone.
