Usually someone updating my electronic gadgets, for some reason I still used a BT 2.1 dongle on my PC. I bought it because of 4.0. Installation on a 64-bit laptop running WINDOWS 7 was very easy. Just plug it into a USB port and the necessary drivers will be installed immediately. I was having issues with my old 2.1 version that dropped BT connections or needed to be reinstalled from time to time. So far this has found all my BT devices like my phone, soundbar, BT headphones etc. The connections are very quick and easy to load, as is the software. I still need to transfer files to or from my phone etc but I am sure they will be much faster than before. I would definitely recommend this little dongle to anyone who has a PC without built-in BT. And the best part is that it only cost about $11!
