This review was printed on a Keychron K2 with PBT keycaps and Gateron Brown switches. ADVANTAGES - Great compact size and location. The 84 keys are the perfect size to stay very compact, giving you the keys you need and making them easy to use. The brown color of the PBT version is awesome. It's not as brown as it looks on the internet, but more of a grey/brown. It looks very stylish on a wooden table with black periphery. The Bluetooth is very reliable, the connection is fast and the response time seems very low. The battery life seems (so far) to be very good. You probably have to charge it every night, if you are an advanced user. or weekly if you use it sparingly throughout the day. The PBT keycaps are a solid upgrade over the standard keycaps. They are more durable and will not fade over time. CONS: The keyboard is very large and a bit awkward to use without a palm rest. It's not unbearable, but the palm rest will definitely make it more comfortable. The keyboard is loud. The caveat is that most mechanical keyboards are noisy. I have brown switches and a small noisy keyboard. However, if you are used to mechanical keyboards, this is what you would expect. Overall it probably needs o-rings to keep it working for long. The brown Gateron switches don't feel as comfortable as the brown Cherry MX. Tactile feedback is inconsistent from key to key (some have noticeably poorer tactile sensations than others), and in general the tactile sensations are relatively muted. If you're used to the Razer Yellow or MX Brown, you might be disappointed with the light feel. - The actuation point seems to be lower than other keyboards. If you're a fast typist (like me) and sometimes don't press all the way down on the board, you can make mistakes. However, if you consciously throw the tone to the wind and make sure every key on the board clicks, not a single keystroke will escape her. The black light on the PCB model is nothing special. This is an off-white light that illuminates the entire circuit board and keycaps. It's not a separate light, but it's all illuminated. However, there are a lot of lighting effects that are pretty cool and if, like me, you turn off the lights anyway, then it doesn't really matter. TL; DR Notes:
