I bought this for impromptu live performances with my phone when the time comes. The clip holds the phone pretty well and I have a case on. My phone is a Sony Xperia xa1 with the LoveMe1 Gorilla case, the mount is solid although I think I could increase the size of the clip. The LED is beautiful and has variable brightness. The stand is stable depending on where you place it. Locking the tops is very convenient. I didn't encounter any cons other than where the adjustment knobs are to raise the phone or the lighting. There is a very handy locking button in the ball joint area to lock it firmly. The leg lock only seems to be there to ensure the legs aren't spread to the lowest level they can go. Overall not a bad set. Over time I may come back and correct or add some of this.
