This is not a shockproof case. This is a case to protect your phone and screen from scratches etc. and your screen will automatically turn on when you open the case and off again when you close it. That's exactly what I want. My phone is always in my pocket or backpack, not in a bag that's too small or too tight, and needs more protection from scratches than from falls (I've only dropped my phone to my death once in my life). Body is smooth and durable. Lighter than other official Samsung cases for other phones (I had a J5 with an official case and the case was much heavier than this one). I also have a camera screen protector on the rear cameras as no case can fully protect the lenses from scratches. and a week later I had a big scratch on the main camera.
