Half of these belts are plastic. They last about six to eight months with daily use, then the liner starts cracking and breaking. Considering the cost of all wide leather belts and the cost of replacing those belts, I can replace them six to eight times before I reach the cost of a buckled leather belt, so I remain a buyer.
