Beautifully restored limestone tiles on our housekeeper's shower room floor, cleaned with abrasive cleaner

We have a porous limestone shower floor that our new housekeeper scrubbed with a harsh abrasive and brush (we think she used a comet). The reddish-brown tile looked horribly white from abrasion and appeared to have no coating on any remaining tile. We figured we'd have to call in a professional and refinish (or worse, replace) the tiles. Consider other DIY options that required the use of grinders and other special equipment and many steps. They were also much more expensive and lasted for days. Seeing this product and thinking about the price, the worst that can happen is that it doesn't work. Couldn't have been more surprised or happier! The instructions say to use a mop or wax applicator - I didn't even have them - I used paper towels and a sponge. After the first layer all the white disappeared. The tile color and finish are back (it's a low gloss, not a high gloss that's perfectly back!). The mortar between them also came to life and took on color. I let the first coat dry and then decided to apply a second coat as an extra layer of protection. I'm so glad I did, now the whole floor looks like new. Hopefully it will hold up in our shower after repeated use. And we will definitely force our housekeeper to only use porous stone cleaners. This product cost a fortune and saved shower tile!
