Review on ⏱️ Bussmann BP SC 30 Time Delay Melamine: Superior Performance and Reliable Circuit Protection by Shane Yay

Inexpensive do-it-yourself repair of a blown fuse. An affordable way to have something on hand.

I have a hot tub and sometimes due to power surges or blackouts the fuses do what they are supposed to do and protect the circuit board. The first time this happened when I went into business I bought my tub and got $19 + tax for just one! That was a few years ago and I've been shopping online ever since with significant savings. My first purchase I made, thought I was buying two fuses, turned out to be two packs of two for $20, the same fuses. This recent purchase should finally top up the previous purchase (I don't really have a lot of fuses but it's nice to have a spare, I was out when we had the chatter/blackout) and again the price was great and the fuses work perfectly. After all, I don't understand why a hot tub supplier would sell their consumables (chemicals, parts and maintenance) at such a price. I know they have to make a living but if you lower your prices more people will buy from the dealer and keep their customer base happy and the return/repeat business profitable. Example: online chemistry almost half price, sanitizer only $10 vs $20, same for other pool/tub products. Whirlpool motor $450 online and shipping, in store $800. And yes, I do my own repairs (except circuit boards), with a guaranteed all done service, you can look at repair bills from $500 to $1200 depending. Fixing the fuse is a very inexpensive fix when bought online and we still enjoy our hot tub. PS: About every three years I take out two engines and seal them up to run. I don't know if there is a video on youtube showing how to change oil seals and what tools are needed, I'll have to search. Hope this all helps, sorry for my inconsistency.
