Fits 2014 Mazda 2

I got this for my 2014 Mazda 2 and it did the job perfectly. I gave one star mainly because of dirty welds. It's basically just a piece of rod, bent at both ends, with flat bushings welded on. The 14mm end dangles a bit, but not enough for any slipping or rounding. I don't need the other end, so I can't comment on that. If the nut on your tensioner is already damaged/rounded, you may need something that fits better. At the 14mm end, part of the thickness of the shaft has been ground off to provide additional clearance. This turned out to be very helpful for me. I haven't seen any signs of color peeling, even in the frame after using it. However, I've only used it once and am very careful with it. Ideally for my car the bar should be straight or even bent the other way. The flex causes the stem to touch the cam position sensor when you loosen it. I got around this by unplugging the sensor and pulling the rod out a bit so it just barely cleared. Next time I'll just remove the sensor to avoid damaging its connector. Overall this is a good buy for the money. I preferred this option to more expensive sets because of concerns that ratchets or interchangeable bits didn't have clearance or that the handle wasn't long enough to get good leverage. Also, many other kits (including those from dealerships for hire/rental) only have 14mm as a crow's foot, which doesn't suit this car at all. So yes I would recommend this tool but be aware of the ugly welds. , a slightly loose bushing and a far from perfect grip bend (for this machine).
