Large studio lights are impractical to take with you to different locations, especially when you are shooting food, you usually don't have much space to work, so compact lights are a must, unfortunately most compact/small lights are not suitable. offer a lot of light output, it's amazing that this tiny light source has enough power to properly illuminate a tablet. Two of these are best, I use one as a main light and the other as a fill light or to add a pop of color to the image and that's one of the great features because with RGB you can reproduce any color you want and all this can be done through the app . I use Android and it works fine. Not sure how it works with iOS or even compatible with it. The battery life is amazing, I've had these for over 3 hours continuously and only just over 40%, no overheating, I didn't see any flickering at 1/2500 magnification, they have an easy to read LCD screen to see how much remaining battery and other key indicators. They're really well built, they feel good in hand, aren't slippery, and they come with a soft pouch to protect them from scratches while in my camera bag. I really recommend this flashlight.
