Review on 🌀 AC Infinity AXIAL LS1238, Silent Muffin Fan, 120V AC 120mm x 38mm Low Speed, UL-Certified for DIY Cooling Ventilation Exhaust Projects by Tim Surridge

My application is a cabinet that houses a NAS, printer, cable modem, switch and a few other heat-generating extras. The floor to ceiling cabinet is virtually airtight - very poor airflow and you can imagine the problems. The first point of attachment was on the outside bottom of the case (air was sucked in around the case legs and pushed up through the case. There was a slight obstruction above the fan inside which caused the fan to run and make more noise than expected.The fan has been moved to an internal solid shelf and the noise problem reduced.Must be installed near the fan inlet *OR* with no obstructions for best performance.Exhaust as well as rubber pads to prevent vibration.The cable is large and easy to navigate during installation. The fan runs 24/7. When it wears out (they wear out) - I will buy another one. Excellent product.
