Review on Logitech G305 Lightspeed: The Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse by Vinay Souphaphong ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

Apparently, Logitech decided to bury other brands in the segment of inexpensive gaming peripherals. Why? Everything is simple. For 3 thousand with a little we get: 1) Comfortable, symmetrical shape for small and medium hands, close to ideal for claw and finger grips. 2) Top HERO sensor, better than which there is simply nothing on the market. 3) Insane energy efficiency. Six months on one battery? Easily. Some talk about 8 months in 500Hz mode. 4) Excellent build quality. The mouse does not creak, the main buttons do not hang out and do not have the notorious response delay, the side buttons are pressed easily and do not fall into the case. The wheel, although not optical, is an order of magnitude better than other scrolls from other brands. The mechanism is the same, but for some reason Logitech managed to do everything right, so the 305th wheel rotates with well-perceived cutoffs at every step of the move and, again, does not hang out in the mouse case. 5) Quite adequate legs. There are five of them and they glide well on any rug. 6) Wireless operation flawlessly to her. There are no differences from wired mice. None. At all. Moreover, there is an opinion that wireless Logitech is faster than some models with cable. To bring a product to the market and make it popular among gamers, it was necessary to prove to everyone that 1ms is really 1ms, and not some ephemeral figure that fluctuates within 1ms. I readily believe this because the mouse feels more responsive than almost anything I've had before. And I had a lot of them. Lots of. 7) 90 grams of weight. A wireless mouse with an AA battery. Dot. Outcome: After the appearance of the G305 on the market, you look with mockery at heavy crafts from the same Zowie, for example. She is still trying to sell us a wired mouse without software for twice the amount in 2022. After all, s1mple plays on it. Cheap marketing, shame and disgrace. Well done Logitech, keep up the good work!

Pros
  • Strict appearance, sensor, duration of work with one battery, software and price.
Cons
  • They are not here.
