Purchased to replace the 1/2 inch line that has lengthened in the tooth. I use it in coastal salt water on an 18ft center console. Buy this line in a larger diameter than the 3/8 diameter line. If you have more than one John boat, the line makes anchoring a mate much easier. I have a buddy with a 20ft Mako with a 3/8 line. I always cursed him for it. .and he made knots to mark the depth. This is about as dumb as it gets. Knots on the anchor line are not only absurd, but dangerous when the tide is in. No soap, no smoking, no smoking, no pee rope, better get a lawyer son, better get a good lawyer, wear a suit and tie, cut your hair up, that's what the officer told me.
