You really do get what you pay for. I wanted a scale because my digital scale reads erratically and I wanted to compare and try to get a more accurate reading. I bought this inexpensive one thinking it would at least be good for comparing readings. Not correct. It's cheap and made of plastic. The scale must be reset to zero EVERY time. It doesn't stay zero. (Big problem.) As some other reviewers have noted, you can't really read the tiny markings between the big numbers. This makes it useless unless you drop exactly 120, 140, 160, etc. I ended up having to take a picture and zoom in just to read the weight! Ha ha. It worked, but I won't do it every time I use the scale. I cannot recommend this scale. I'd rather spend more to get a good one. i give it back luck next time.
