I upgraded to the 1DX M-II and the low light performance has greatly improved which is important for school nights out.
I photograph football club and high school football. When my Canon 1DIV finally wore out, I switched to the 1DX M-II and the low light performance improved significantly, which is important for high school night games. Then I can take pictures with a high shutter speed. I always shoot in series; Frame loss due to poor focus is around 2-3%, which is slightly better than 1 DIV. The image quality and the depth I can crop to is much better.
