Poor quality material

I installed five of these, bought all at the same time. The rubber was very thin compared to the OEM damper. In just 15 months, the material deteriorated and the dome holding the chain collapsed. Everything had to be replaced as it was no longer working properly. No chemicals or bleach were used in the toilet bowls. I bought another brand with better material. See attached photos of old and new.

Pros
