Restricted use of this harness kit

Using the Revains 'make sure it fits' tool this part should work on my 2000 Ford Explorer with a 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine. This is the first time I've encountered a tooling error related to fitting, so I'll have to double-check their recommendations from now on. 1991 4 cylinder 2.3 liter Ford Ranger pickup with DIS (Distributed Ignition System) with dual spark plug system.
