UPDATE: 10/10 recommend to everyone! These filters have lasted longer than the filters I have received from other aquarium suppliers, are the easiest to clean, always bounce back to white and filter the aquarium water easily. I use bleach to wash them which can wear down the fabric and I can honestly say that after months of use and cleaning these filters have not deteriorated one bit. I have just ordered another set and will continue to do so if needed! ————————— I use these in my saltwater aquarium and they work great! These are shorter socks, so be aware that they will fill up with debris and dirt a little quicker than longer socks, but they still last a few days before needing to be changed, which is fine. I ended up buying another pack so I could have lots of extra stuff without having to constantly wash my socks. To clean them, I put them in a 5 gallon bucket with hot water, bleach, and a small pump for a couple of hours. Rinse and soak in a dechlorinator and they are ready to use again.
