Very weird tubing material

What was this made from? This is the weirdest material ever. Will not hold it's shape. Kinks at the slightest bend and will not go back to anything resembling round. It just so happens I only need short lengths of it at a time. For the money, I saved. The only good thing about it is that I can see through it. All the reviews are correct in what they say and the pictures are correct. It is tough though and stretchy. I wouldn't purchase it again.
